Are those folders at the location specified or in your public_html folder?

No, they are in their own file because when I was installing it, it said not to put them in the public_html folder

They are supposed to be in your root folder, the same one that the public_html. public_ftp, and mail is in.

i.e. it means that you must create a directory named mib_data in your accounts root directory (/home/brazzell). Is that what you did?

It's FIXED!!!! YEAH!!! it was simple as not having the / slash before home. Yes, I am an Idiot, but what do you expect from a former Marine.

/home/CPANELUSERNANE/mib_data /home/CPANELUSERNANE/mib_data/dbbackup /home/CPANELUSERNANE/mib_data/resolver_logs CPANELUSERNAME is your cPanel username. And in HG servers you must NOT chmod those directories to 0777.

Thank you quiteFinn but i tried that already, both with chmod 777 and 755. and it doesn't work.
the error message appears in the last installation step. i dont know if i did smth wrong before this step or the problem is just about the mib_data folder... should i try to "uninstall" WHMAP and try again? or just install WHMCS? if the second one, do i need to erase WHMAP first? how do i "unistall" it? thanks! George PS i still dont understand "It's FIXED!!!! YEAH!!! it was simple as not having the / slash before home. Yes, I am an Idiot, but what do you expect from a former Marine." |
