i had to ask for mine to be resent, and it then came to me immediately, but i waited 6 hours beforehand. i don't know if you have a technical issue or if it's done manually. hope u can get it fixed so other time-constrained clients don't get the same experience

I also did not recieve my welcome email but I contacted live support and it was sent immediatly. The support at hostGator is really great but it would be better if they didn't have to be contacted

i appreciate it can take time to verify new accounts and it wouldn't be unreasonable to wait 24 hours or so.... but i contacted live support immediately because i'd had no idea what was going on (maybe i could have had an email saying to expect a welcome email within so many hours?), and live support told me to expect it in about 1-3 hours, so i contacted them again after 6 hours when i'd not received it. maybe HG could consider adding something in the first email or two, saying to exect a welcome email, or maybe just don't tell people it's coming in 3 hours when it's not
![]() still, to this day i'm very happy with the hosting speed and uptime

Yesterday, we were experiencing technical issues with the welcome emails not sending out. I am unsure of the current status on this situation. I'll be sure to update if I get any information.

They're usually pretty quick, (once you've got all your ducks in a row), so here's hoping for a fast setup.
