Hi, I'm considering switching from GoDaddy to eNom for domain name registering, mainly because of this feature:
http://www.enom.com/help/dnsdemo.asp It let's you use eNom's name servers (pointing either to an IP address, alias or set up a redirect). The benefit is that if one later will switch to another server, this will happen in minutes instead of 24-72 hours. I tried this with a site within my reseller account with HostGator, and it works (by using the alias-version, and pointing it to my name servers with Hostgator. But I still haven't made it work with mail. Has anyone in here tried it? |

Replying to myself here: It does work, also with mail, if the parameters are set correctly. This means that I won't need to wait up to three days for propagation any more, making a site point to a new server takes less than half an hour!
