Arrow Enom account for resellers

Hi,

I would like to know how the Enom account works. Even if I don't want to deposit the $100 needed for selling domains will I still be able to purchase domains name at the price listed?
Quote:
.com - $10.00/yr
.net - $10.00/yr
.org - $9.75/yr
.biz - $9.75/yr
.us - $9.75/yr
.info - $9.45/yr
Since I'm going to have a lot of domains, I'm wondering if there's a cheap way to have domain privacy set on all those domains? Or will I need to pay $10 for each domain I want to have privacy in it? Also I want to know if HostGator will provide me a login to manage my domains at the Enom's website or I'll manage my domains elsewhere?

Another question is if there is a way I can purchase the domain I'm going to use as the main domain for the reseller account for the special prices listed above? And what about if I register it with HG but want to move it to Enom's latter? Since it's the same registrar how will it be done? I know what's needed to move a domain from one registrar to another, but what if the domain name is using the same registrar? (like in this case, Enom and HostGator)

Thank you!

You might want to consider 1and1.com. Cheaper rates and their control panel lets you manage your own domain privacy. I don't like 1and1's hosting services much, but their domain packages seem okay.

What do you mean by manage your own domain privacy?

Ps.: Can we trust our domain names at 1and1.com? Are they 100% reliable?

Just what I said. See attached image.

Well, I've had no problem with any of my domain registrations with them. So, yes, they've been 100% reliable in my own experience.

Thank you very much for all the information.

I'm about to decide between 1and1.com and Enom.com.

Is there someone using Enom reseller account that can tell me more about how is it going to work, the prices for the services, etc?

Thank you very much!

Heh heh. You're a tough customer. Can't help you with enom. I only dealt with them very briefly for a single registration years ago. But I'm sure others here have had plenty of experience with them. I just thought that maybe saving $10 with free domain privacy might help you to decide on spending an extra buck or two here for the best hosting service on the planet. (pun intended)

Yes, I always look for what's the best for my bussines.

At this moment I'm enjoying HostGators support and community very much. There are only a few things slowing me down at this moment.

Hope someone who uses Enom take a couple of minutes to tell me more about.

I use NameCheap, and get domains for just over $9 US, and they come with one year free domain privacy. I've got over 150 domains with them, have been with them for about 8 years, and have never had a problem. They have the best interface available.

I just wish they offered a reseller program. They currently only have an affiliate program.
