I'm thinking about purchasing a macbook and am wondering if I am going to encounter any problems while using hostgator?
I mainly use wordpress themes for my sites, but will having a macbook make anythings harder? |

Don't use the name iBook-- it's all MacBook now. Having a macbook will make your life easier, certainly. And it works fine with Wordpress.

That's the good thing about webdesign. It has no preference on which operating system you use... just browser.

Macs are fine, you'll have no problem.
I use a PowerMac.

Mac is no problem. Some sites may not display correctly with Safari but you can just install firefox or opera if that becomes a hassle.

I'd also recommend Camino-- www.caminobrowser.org. It uses the same rendering engine as Firefox so anything that works in firefox but will display in camino the same way, but it's VERY mac-like.
