Libraries are something that only root to the server can do.

I don't know about what your trying to setup but GD libraries for PHP are already enabled. At least under the hostgator domain and my reseller account.
www.hostgator.com/phpinfo.php Create a file with the following contents (call it phpinfo.php); <?php phpinfo(); ?> Upload it to your account and call the page, about half the way down the page you should see that the GD librarty is enabled. I've played around with GD myself on the account so I know it works. What exactly is going on? Perhaps we can help. |
