I would also love to be able to use https for access to cpanel for my hosting account, so that my username/password, as well as various other passwords weren't going over unencrypted channels while changing domains, ftp, etc. Has this been considered?

Ah, that works (even if it complains that the certificates are for the wrong domain, which is to be expected).I will update my suggestion to say "document how to access cpanel via https" -- it's not mentioned anywhere in the knowledgebase, and all the documentation points to the insecure link. |

Also for the future:
http://domain.com/securecontrolpanel and http://domain.com/securewhm (if you're a reseller or on a dedicated) work as well.

I didn't page down into the results when I was searching the knowledgebase. Thanks for linking to that.
