Hi
I still experience alot of spam getting through with my current provider. They use smartermail5. I was wondering people experiences are with hostgators spam filtering/success. I am considering the baby plan. |

As I go over with different posts, problems with email spam is very rampant. Is there any possibility that we can minimize it? I know, it is quite a burden but surely there are ways to stop this.

We offer SpamAssassin, and BoxTrapper. Both of these can be used to effectively minimize spam. There is no 'solution' to spam, because of the design of the smtp protocol, the main component used to send mail. However, we take spam seriously and do not allow our users to send spam. Through the effective use of SpamAssassin & BoxTrapper, you can eliminate most spam.
