I just moved my web site from another hosting service to Host Gator - so far so good. I do, however, have a question that hopefully someone can answer. Is it possible when setting up an email account to specifiy an alias? The last hosting service I used did support email aliases which I found quite useful. Since I have email addresses that have been in use for some time, it would be nice to have a single email account to access as opposed to setting up and always checking multiple accounts.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You can use the forwarders feature. For example, if you have an account set up called main@yourdomain.tld then you could create forwarders for other addresses that you want to go there. such as support@yourdomain.tld, webmaster@yourdomain.tld, etc. You would not create email accounts for those addresses, just forwarders.
