Default Email sent from accounts that don't exsist?

This morning i was checking my email and I had 6 delivery failures in my mailbox, the thing is I haven't sent any email in weeks so after furthure review I notice that these are all coming from email accounts I don't have set up with my domain. The all have the @totallymobiledjs.com after the name but start out with accounts that I never setup.

The question is, If 6 came back undeliverable, how many got through? How can I stop this from happening? I am not sending this email but it looks like it is coming from me now someone might report my account as a spammer. WHAT CAN I DO?

Please Help, Thanks!

Good news! They don't report your account as a spammer, they report your whole server.

It should be difficult for them to abuse your account, you should contact support and report this.

I have done a check on your domain "totallymobiledjs.com" and found that you have not added a SPF record on your domain:

Quote:
Your domain does not have an SPF record. This means that spammers can easily send out E-mail that looks like it came from your domain, which can make your domain look bad (if the recipient thinks you really sent it), and can cost you money (when people complain to you, rather than the spammer). You may want to add an SPF record ASAP, as 01 Oct 2004 was the target date for domains to have SPF records in place (Hotmail, for example, started checking SPF records on 01 Oct 2004).
It would be very nice to read this thread:
http://forums.hostgator.com/showthread.php?t=5934
that I think it could help you to understand the SPF record.

Regards,
- Sergio

ok - i went and used the SPF wizard but it wants me to insert something into my dns zone file. I only have a shared account not a resellers account, how do I add that into the dns zone file? or do I have HG do it for me? If they do it for me do i supply them with the string to put in or will they create one?

I tought you were a reseller, under your name it says so.

Any way, send a ticket to HG support to do it for you, they will know how to do it and what to write it there.

Im trying to set this up but get lost when I get to the edit DNS page for my domain in WHM. Anyone have a screen shot of what SPF should like? Like of what part of the code goes where? Thanks.

Should I add ~all to the end of the code?
