I decided to post my problems here to see if someone could help me before cancelling my service with HG. . I think his company has great plans/prices, but I can’t keep this service if I continue having problems. Basically,, I upgraded from a "BABY" plan to a VPS plan(level 3). The reason why I upgraded was b/c of a shopping that I will be implement (Magento). I have paid a lot of money to have the cart re-design with several different features AND I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO KEEP MY SERVICE WITH HG.
The issue that I’m having “NOW” is with Outlook. I cannot send emails and I’m getting an STMP error (see below) I’ve contacted Microsoft and my IPS provider and basically I was told to contact my hosting company. When I contacted HG, I was told to contact my ISP provider again. I’m going from one problem to another ,yesterday it was issues with cpanel not being installed. Personally, I think there’s some issue with the plan I upgraded to, b/c I was not having any issue (NONE WHAT SO EVER) until my account was converted over to a VPS plan. If someone could please help…. Task - Sending' reported error (0x80042109) : 'Outlook cannot connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).' |

I'm glad you were able to get the issue resolved. Can you also provide the ticket ID where you were told to contact your ISP again so that we may review the issue?
