I've been unable to send or receive email since Tuesday night. Twice they said they fixed it but it still doesn't work. Anyone else have this problem?
athletesforacure.org semi-dedicated The accounts are not over quota and I haven't changed anything on my end. For the first fix, I was told there was an error in the DNS settings. Any thoughts really appreciated. |

The blacklist wouldn't matter for receiving mail.
Although your DNS has errors, none should stop the mail. I assume you've submitted another ticket? Edit: Also, what happens when you try to send or receive? Do people sending to you get a bounce? Can you send on webmail? From a program, using your ISP's smtp?

I replied to the original ticket. Is it better to submit a new one?
When I send (from a test hotmail account for example) the email comes back immediately: Delivery to the following recipients failed. This happens with anyone sending to our domain. When I'm in webmail and I send out, I get this... This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed: srigler@prostatecancerfoundation.org unrouteable mail domain "prostatecancerfoundation.org" ------ This is a copy of the message, including all the headers. ------ Return-path: <webmaster@athletesforacure.org> Received: from srigler by server13.minidedicated.com with local (Exim 4.63) (envelope-from <webmaster@athletesforacure.org>) id 1HwJVV-0002ir-3o for srigler@prostatecancerfoundation.org; Thu, 07 Jun 2007 10:02:37 -0500 Received: from 12.44.44.11 ([12.44.44.11]) (SquirrelMail authenticated user webmaster@athletesforacure.org) by 67.18.96.154 with HTTP; Thu, 7 Jun 2007 10:02:37 -0500 (CDT) Message-ID: <22728.12.44.44.11.1181228557.squirrel@67.18.96.15 4> Date: Thu, 7 Jun 2007 10:02:37 -0500 (CDT) Subject: test on Thursday at 8 From: webmaster@athletesforacure.org To: srigler@prostatecancerfoundation.org User-Agent: SquirrelMail/1.4.9a MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain;charset=iso-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit X-Priority: 3 (Normal) Importance: Normal Last edited by srigler; 06-07-2007 at 01:32 PM. |

Definately need to contact support via a ticket. A quick check at dnsstuff shows an error for an email address on your site.

Did you maybe add these accounts to your server, before they've actually been moved over? Could it be a remotedomains and localdomains problem?

The accounts were set up months ago and there haven't been any problems until now.

Did you add those other domains to your server since then?
