Email & Cpanel issues

I don't know what server I am on (cpanel and WHM won't actually fully load), but email has been crap today and http is loading 50% of the time.

This has been happening more and more lately and I'm kinda getting bummed.

anyone else?

I'm on puma as well and it's been experiencing problems since about 10:00 this morning. I keep "bugging" support about it every time the load goes high and/or services are going down.

As I write this, the load (27) is still fairly high for a 4 cpus machine which, as far as I understand, should rarely be above 2 for more than a few seconds.

While we're at it maybe someone from HG could answer something for me. The las time we had major overloads like that on puma, at least that I'm aware of, was on november 7. Today is december 7 and at just about the same time the server starts being slow, overloaded and have failing services.

Does HG (or some other user) run a process of some sort on the 7th of each month ? I find it to be a very strange coincidence.

Problems again this morning with no email and site not loading. Grr....

This is my employer's website I'm dealing with. I suggested they use HG cause I run my personal sites here. Doesn't look good for me, and if it keeps up they'll probably want to change providers.

My personal sites are on the FIAT server, and I *never* have these problems.

Is there a way to request to be moved off PUMA to FIAT, which seems to be a more stable server?

I'm thinking of requesting a move as well and if I don't get it I'll simply move somewhere else. I can't run a business like this, there's a high probability that I lost a sale last week because the server was almost unusable on the 7th.

Now I emailed them 30 minutes ago, I haven't got a reply beside the automated one and the sites are still down. What do I tell my clients ???????????

Perhaps Hg should invest money in servers instead of buying advertisement on every web hosting forum.
