Default Email Archiving

I did a search and could not find any references here.
I have a client who will be traveling for the next four months and will not have access to emails, but would like to keep the emails and then view them when he returns.
This will result in a large amount of emails being kept on the server. Is anyone aware of a [cheap / free] script / application that can archive / zip emails on the server or allow for easy automated off-line storage?
I've found some applications that do this, but are priced at several hundred to thousands of dollars.

Thanks

Can't you just increase his quota or make it unlimited? If you give his package enough space it won't be a problem, and with the quotas HGs accounts have now...

The reseller quotas are not that big- plus, no overselling. Space used= money lost. (if the person isn't paying for the usage over his package)

A very simple solution :

Redirect the mail to a Yahoo or gMail account for that period, you will have a few Gigs available for free.

regentronique, thanks for the idea - hadn't thought about that!
by the way, there are about 10-12 other email accounts with this one client, all of whom do not regularly check email each day. So, storage space could build up very quickly.

And ESL is correct in that resellers do not get a lot of "unlimited" space.

Thanks again for the suggestions!
