None of those templates can be used in the site builders offered by Hostgator.

Each of those templates will have a list of recommended software that can be used to edit/modify them

The templates contained within the demo are different and not the same as the 4,500 free templates offered by Hostgator.

The 4,500 free templates offered by Hostgator can not be used in the site builder.

Good day, benjas-

For people with little programming skills, it might be daunting to edit these templates by hand, but you can get web editors such as Dreamweaver or Expression Web to assist in editing these. I'm sure that the forum goers have some great free ones to recommend.

Sitebuilder/Sitestudio offer easier ways to create a website, but please note that the tradeoff of something being easier is that you may have less flexibility in creating a site, and in this case you're restricted to the predefined Sitestudio templates for the benefit of easier site creation.

If you have full forum access, this thread has links to several downloadable editors, and several other easy site building resources: Site studio/builder alternatives even novices can use

You do not need any programming skills to edit templates. Any WYSIWYG editor like front page, dreamweaver (lot more) can edit HTML pages. You only need basic HTML skills and working knowledge of WYSIWYG editors, which any way is essential for any webmaster.
