Hi,
Can you tell me when Echo will come off the Blacklist? This is the second time this week. I am running a number of oscommerce shops and customers can not receive emails. Regards Phoenix04 |

I have already reported it to them, they are well aware that some servers are black listed because my ip aswell got blacklisted and I offer some things too and require emailing to customers. As far as they told me they requested a de-listing so perhaps it will get resolved soon.

I did lodge a ticket hours ago and I also have another ticket regarding this that was lodged 4 days ago that is going unanswered. I have 2 reseller accounts and a swamp plan with host gator. The other 2 are on different host gator servers I don't have a problem with but echo has been nothing but drama's since the day I brought the reseller plan. Can anyone at host gator tell me what is happening with echo?

I am also on echo server and also got the same bounced email problem due to spamcop.
I reported the problem via ticket system 3 days ago, it was OK for last 2 days and today the same thing is happening again & I reopened ticket earlier today. |

Good luck getting an answer! Normally I can not fault host gator support but I have to say in the last week this Blacklist has been absolute hell and the fact that no one will answer my tickets is really getting to me!

Can this problem be avoided/cleared up by adding on a private IP for $2/month?

I don't know? If someone ever replies to one of my tickets I will ask If I am still with Host Gator.

No, a private IP won't help because the way cPanel works-- on shared servers, sent mails are made from the same shared IP for everybody.
