It's currently getting a fsck and on sda2 once fsck is done assuming it's good we will be getting a chassi swap.

Don't think I have posted before because downtimes were always given an ETA by your Live Chat staff. However, after several discussions with them and not receiving any response apart from "soon", I have dived into the forums. It is the middle of the day here in Australia, my 20+ clients have'nt been able to email or use their websites since the start of their working day, and still you have no ETA?
Please, we deserve better than "soon"................ |

And the girl on Live Chat said I should tell my clients what it says on the forums..........yeh, like I'll tell them about Mustang's experiences and how they may be in for a 2 week rollercoaster while the servers are plyed with :-)

the drive is in critical condition, and the datacenter is working on a way to make it usable. If it cannot be salvaged we will have to restore from backup's which will be 8 hours downtime at the least. If it can be salvaged it will be back online any time, minutes - hour or so

Aghhh, 20 phone calls later, I have no happy clients, as I haven't been able to tell them when it will be resolved, or if they will lose any of their emails...
Although it is after hours in the US, I have been down all of our working day now and it is late afternoon for my Melbourne/Sydney clients. I said I would ring them all back before the end of business today, which is only 3 hours away from a whole 8+ working day down... (I am +8GMT) Please give me some good news... |
