Hello,
I´m a user completely new to web hosting, but have ideas of some sites to do. Does the Ilimited Domains in hostgator means that i can have a www.somesite.com and a www.anysite.com, with different contents, all housed with one account? (not a reseller one) Also, i presume that subdomains are a kind of anysite.hostgator.com, is that correct? |

You can host any domain you want, but I don't think you will be able to register it yourself. You would be able to register the standard .com .net ,org domains, but probobly you will have to go 3rd party registerer to get a country code domain that isn't standard. I just checked godaddy.com and they don't offer anything .mx.

yeah, hosting such domains is fine, just find some registrar when you can register it. Do you happen to know any that will allow registration of .mx, .cl and other south american domain names?
Many thanks Olly |

You can register .mx domains here: http://www.domainregister.com/mx.html
They are $12/per year and must be registered for 2yrs
