Default Domain transfer

I had signed up for a domain last month with another webhost company but I like to make an transfer and get HG to do the hosting.

I understand that I need to wait for at least 60days to allow my domain to get transfer and that will take another month. I am doing a online biz and really want to get my website up asap. I just want to check if I can sign up with HG now to start building up my site and get my domain to be transferred at a later stage?

You don't need to transfer the domain name now or ever if you don't wish to.

Apply for a hosting account here anytime you like and simply change the DNS servers at your domain registrar to what HG sends you in their welcome email once you have signed up for the account.

How odd. Three posts by chinchillables and all three have a hidden image added within the quoted text.

What a nefarious new twist!

I'd wondered, because his/her posts didn't seem to have much point, but didn't notice anything hidden because I skipped right past the quoted text.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. I have the Firefox Web Developers Toolbar installed and had it check for broken images and all three posts had the same broken image.

Before I saw your message, I used it as well--but I do "show image paths" and skipped right over the quoted text (since the source of quote didn't show anything, who'd have thought?)

Now we do.

Another very useful Firefox extension, Advanced Dork, makes it possible to highlight text--in this case, the hidden image maven's user name--and choose "search with" in the context menu.

And in this case, the five seconds or so were worth it. The results of the search, in this case Google, show the truly impressive range and scope of fora to which s/he belongs. Very, very, creative--too bad that energy and spark isn't going towards legitimate marketing methods.
