Greetings Hostgator support!
I am confused about something concerning one of the Shared Hosting plans. It says "Unlimited Domains" above "Unlimited Subdomains". In our cPanel, when setting up another new domain, do we have to pay for it? It also says something about Reseller accounts for unlimited domains, so I am quite confused. |

This means that you can have unlimited, add on, parked, and sub-domains. None of these three cost money, the only thing that will cost you money is registering the domain. That can be done with us for $15 a domain or if you already have a registrar through them. Add-On domains: Allow you to have www.domain.com go to its own folder, acting like its own website. Parked domains: Allow you to "park" a domain, it will go to your default site. So if you have www.ebay.com, you can also have www.ebay.net www.ebay.org etc. Sub domains: These do not require domains at all, they will go to any place you route them to and will be name.yourdomain.com I.E forums.hostgator.com Hope that helps! |
