Don't think this is usable on shared servers. Best to check by emailing support at hostgator dot com.

There's a million reasons this could be happening--have you tried sending a message to support? Also is safe_mode off?

here's the command "exec(/home/wlsuser/public_html/b3ta/ray/modules/global/app/ffmpeg.exe -y -i /home/wlsuser/public_html/b3ta/temp_upload_music/23_temp -vn -ar 44100 -ab 192k /home/wlsuser/public_html/b3ta/temp_upload_music/61.mp3)" when php runs through it nothing happens...

Did you look here: http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/w...nstallProblems

Also, have you tried ticketing support? Or looking at the error logs?

you need to set permission to 755, for any scripts which needs to write to another file/folder.
