Does private forum exist?

I did PM GatorJay here. I did send email to sales@hostgator. But I still can't see any private forum here and no reply at all.

Does private forum exist or I should just use ticket system if I have any questions?

Actually, if you look at the member list for the forum, I can see why it takes a while. Last time I looked there must have been 100 unverified users.

Whats the point of this forum. I registered to find out if anyonelse is having problems with pop3 accounts since the mail upgrade and I can only post here. Im not happy with the service so far. Im on the other side of the globe and have to wait up till 1am Perth time to communicate with someone who is too busy or too inexperienced to tell me why we cant download our emails with attachments. So i register here and find i migh have to wait two weeks to be validated to post anywhere but her.

What a Joke.

Probably lots of problems are hidden in private and HG don't want people to access it for the 30 days money back period?

I am kidding but there is no rule for how long it will take to access the private forum.

I won't be surprised for a probation period like 1 or 2 month. However the post sticked on top is just misleading people that it looks like 48 hours. If HG need more time to verify the clients, post it. ex. 1 month, 2 month or half year. If the private forum is not a guaranteed service for clients, it doesn't matter at all. post it. I won't come here again and expect it. I will just use the ticket system.

As far as I can tell, there is no probation period or anything like that. I get the impression that it is a huge pain to go through the list and look up everyone's account information to verify that they are a HG customer, so the upgrades aren't done very often. The amount of time it takes depends on when you registered and when the last upgrade was done. In some causes, it might be days, in others, its weeks. Just hang in there and PM Jay every once and a while. I figure when he starts getting too many its an incentive to upgrade people.

These were all activated last night, please email sales@hostgator.com if you were not activated. Also if you emailed sales june 9th and did not receive an automated ticket reply, we did not get that email. Otherwise it would have been forwarded to me.

I am on a short time frame to get the new dedi going, but no access to the private forums yet, I can't do it without the instructions from the forum....I am going to loose my job if I have to wait a week, images 2-3 weeks. Can someone help me speed up the process before I am out of business? Thanks!

You should now be able to see the private forums as I see that you are not awaiting activation anymore

Somehow no, I keep getting the same message saying:

"...you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Its okay, I am getting better already...mistakes here and there but getting there....besides I had a little help from "netfinn".

We(dedicated users) should just had to copy and paste you in a PM message what was the step to dedicated user setup...didn't think about it...
