How does one Learn how to setup an account

I hope this is the right place to post question.

How does one learn how to use all of this stuff, i want want to register a domain name and to host an account...Is there free set-up how does one usset up a landing page and why. I am not a techie.

Hostgator has many video tutorials for you to see how things are done in the FAQ give it a shot. They did a nice job with them.
