dodge /tmp full

I just noticed that the /tmp filesystem on dodge is full. I can't help but wonder just how long it has been full. Doesn't hostgator monitor for things like full disks?

I'm talking with Andre via live chat, he says he'll fix it, but I don't see any progress yet. And now the web server is down.

I hate to add to the server load by running a cron job to monitor for basic system health issues, but if hostgator won't do it, I will. Or I'll find a different web host who can handle basic sysadmin functions like this.

Edit: /tmp was cleared and web server back up pretty quickly, but question of hostgator's system monitoring remains.
