Do You Provide eCommerce Site Building Services ?

I have some questions about building my eCommerce website. I have seen other hosting sites that provide certain services to help me get my site fully functional in a short amount of time.

1. Do you have design templates I can use? Do you have software such as SiteBuilder, etc.
2. Do you have Search Engine Submission Optimization services?
3. What kind of assistance will you provide to help me get my site to look professional?
4. Can someone assist me to be sure my site is secure and hacker-proof?

HostGator provides templates for resellers to setup their webhosting business.
SiteBuilder is available to help you design your site. It's free for shared clients, as a reseller you can use SiteStudio on any site you host for $2/monthly licensing fee (per site that needs it).
Your cPanel includes a search engine submittal tool (submit your site to all the big search engines).

I just got hosted today and can't find anywhere on my cpanel that shows to use Sitebuilder. Can you please let us know how to activate the program?

I am assuming that you are not a reseller and are on a shared account. If you want access, please email sales@hostgator.com to request it. Access is free if you are on a shared account. After you get the login details, you access site builder by going to www.hostgator.com/build.

I also have a question, I just started my account and want to use oscommerce as my shopping cart. On the Cpanel I see Agora but don't see OScommerce as an icon. How do I go about uploading OScommerce?

Hi, you can get to osCommerce by clicking on the Fantastico icon in cpanel (The smiley face at the bottom). Scroll down through the list and you will see an eCommerce section and osCommerce should be there. That should get you started, and will install the basic setup for you. If you need help after, post back and I am sure one of us here can help.
