About Fall?

I love all the spicy scents. In fact, I just bought some pumpkin spice candles last night -- heavenly! I love wearing warm clothes and anything fleece. I love the crunching leaves and the beautiful colors. And most of all I love the almost PERFECT weather! Mid 70's on a clear day or mid 60's on an overcast day. Ahhhhhhhhh I love fall, can you tell?

Fall...I can only imagine how beautiful Fall is. Unfortunately, we don't experience that wonderful season here. The crispness, the change...we don't feel that here. But, oh how I wish we did! I know we're missing out on a lot of earth's beauty! Where'd you get your pumpkin spice candles? I know where I work, we sell Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin. Might be yours? If not, its an awesome fragrance. Comes in lots of stuff too! YUMS!

Ahhh, yes, you're in Florida, that's right Maybe you ought to make a trip up to KS sometime! As for the candles, I just bought them at Walmart. $10.00 for two large candles and 8 votives. I have to conserve my money ya know, so I can't afford those really expensive ones.

Yeah, I know it is (far). I hear NC is really nice though. What's the reason for wanting to go there? Family?

No, neither one of us have family there. But, NC seems like the perfect state to live to us. 4 seaons basically. Love the mountains and snow, but close enough to water too. We want a waterfall in our backyard We've both been in FL our whole lives and it wears on ya after awhile. Besides, everyone is coming here. There won't be much room for us soon. lol It's way populated here, makes it almost impossible to drive anywhere. But mostly, we'd just like a change os scenery and since we've both been there and love it, seems like it'd be best to reside there. Not to mention our children will get a better education!

4 seasons here, but no mountains. I LOVED Arizona myself (I've lived in KS my whole life) because I prefer that it stay mostly warm year round. And I loved the mountains there too. It was breathtaking! When do you think you'll try to move to NC?

Right now I'm applying to nursing program here. Once I'm in its a 2 year program. So we might me stuck here for another 3 years or so. But as soon as I have my license we want to move. If we could leave now, we would. But school is most important at this point...

Yep fall is great..all that colors...I often travell from Slovenia to Croatia(2hours by train) where my dad lives and seeing most of the Slovenia(not a big country...3 hours from one corner to other...) in all that colors is such a beauty for the eyes....

But this year fall is a bit slow...it's still hot here.....

I adore nature...my wife also...we're trying to move from capital city to where my mother in law lives(not to live WITH her...that would be too much ) but to live in that part of Slovenia......ah...heaven....

Anyone been to Europe guys ???

Hey angeleyz let's make Brent and Jessica post their pics here what do you say ???

Im still not a Gator customer but decided to be one when my company opens(fingers crossed it goes well) which should be real soon...

I'm just waiting for a friend who suddenly decided to go to America for 3 months(why?bits me!)....he is a designer(the best there is if I may add..the one who designs from the (h)art and not from a wallet) and I'm a programmer...they say a good one but doing my best to become better

you can check our most awarded sites and the ones we are most proud of..

Very cool that you're from Slovenia. I have heard it's really beautiful over there! I've never been out of the states personally though. And I haven't been outside of my own state all that much either. Not as much as some people anyways.

And yeah! I think a pic would be great! I'll even post mine.

My husband is a PHP Programmer. He designed our site: http://www.babiesandbellies.com. And of course, any designer and programmer can always be better -- there's always SOMETHING to learn or to improve on. We certainly do NOT work from the wallet, even though we're poorer than dirt. It's what we enjoy.

I checked out the sites you listed too. The first one was a little annoying having to wait for each page to load (I think it was the flashing "Page Loading" that bugged me most). But the graphics were wonderful!!! It didn't seem very original design wise though but I suppose that's typical of flash sites. They all kind of look the same if you KWIM. The second one was faster, but it took me a minute to figure out what it was supposed to be about. A little less "flashier" but still a nice site. I tried to download one of the MP3's but it was taking forever and I ended up giving up. And I'm on high speed business cable btw Oh, and on the first site I wasn't able to even get the music to laod at all. It errored out on me saying that IE couldn't open the requested site.

So anyway, here's that pic Please forgive me feeding my face. This was taken at my grandmother's funeral and I thought the lady was taking a picture of my son, not me. But it's really the only pic I have right now. I'm pregnant here AND I just had twins 9 mo's before, so I'm a little heavier than I normally am.

For that project we had 2 options...either for customer to wait for the whole thing to load or to do it by parts....after we did the study which showed that customers wait only 5-7 seconds for site to load the second solution seemed the best.....

I can asure you that the desing is original....Because our moto is "Qulity wins" and we always tell our customers that we're not the cheapest and we don't intend to be our goal is quality....

I personaly like the flash pages but not in the way that flash is used for staticly dynamic effects...

Our bussiness brings something new...Flash combined with PHP and databases which is pretty rare....

That's weird???First time I hear that in 2 years we designed that page....who's your ISP???If it's AOL than I know why.....

I tried to download one of the MP3's but it was taking forever and I ended up giving up

I have to show this line to the customer because I told them that the donloading of 80mb sound files isn't a good idea...better one is to use RealAudio files so that the user can listen the music without dwnld.....Now they'll see my point....

And as for the quickness of the applications that's out of our hand(until we order reseller prog. from Gator) becuse customers already had their own servers located in Croatia and Slovenia and their servers are SOOOO slow.......

I surfed your site but had to use IE...It had some problems with Mozilla Firebird that I'm using.....I must say that idea is original to run site for parents......

And I see that your husband is up to date with post-nuke add-on modules

Huh...I don't have any pics right now but will upload by monday(cross my heart...)

And I'm still expecting candies from Gator For both of us

Actually, this is becoming an increasingly popular idea. However, not in the way you are currently using it. Instead, you'll see sites like mine where they use flash graphics instead of .jpg's or .gif's. For instance, there might be a really nice banner designed in flash which contains several menu options. A lot of gaming and anime sites use this concept. We don't merely because I know that my users want and need speed and flash will only slow them down. We also have a lot of dialup users, so a fast load time is essential.

For that project we had 2 options...either for customer to wait for the whole thing to load or to do it by parts....after we did the study which showed that customers wait only 5-7 seconds for site to load the second solution seemed the best.....

Good choice I agree it's better to wait for it to load in parts. When designing, it's important to think about your low-end users as well as your top-end and I'd rather wait several short times than one insanely long time.

....who's your ISP???If it's AOL than I know why.....

Cox.net -- You couldn't PAY me to use AOHELL

I've noticed that users have to use IE to use our site, but as of yet we are uncertain as to WHY.... I have a post in support (I think is where I put it) that I'm trying to figure out. If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them!

That's the question I was asked when was doing one project for croatian goverment agency....

They wanted one page with giant amount of data to be viewable from ALL browsers no mather which version.....

That was headbreaking and the only answer was FLASH....that's a good side of FLASH...all you need is a plugin and you can view it from any browser...

But as you said site like yours(whith high bandwith and traffic) should stay in the juristiction of HTML

I've searched the comp for any pics and that's the only one...

this bit** in front just poped up from nowhere...I'm that guy in the back looking gooffy into cam and my wife is with red hair looking right...

Now it's Gator's turn (both of them)

This is Charles and I just after our wedding. I am 4 mo's pregnant here, so I'm a little hefty since I just had twins almost 9 mo's before this. I think I look hideous here LOL
