I'm looking to switch hosts, but need some questions answered first.
I'm looking at your "Baby" and "Swamp" plans.


1. Do I get a dedicated IP for these?

2. Do you have SSH access?

3. What other ports (if any) do you allow mail to be sent from? My ISP blocks port 25.

4. Where can I find your Internet backbone infrastructure information?

You can have a dedicated IP for a monthly fee.

2. Do you have SSH access?

SSH/telnet is not allowed for security reasons. However, you should be able to do everything with a good ftp client and/or with the cPanel File Manager. If necessary you could always ask HostGator Support to execute something on the command line.

3. What other ports (if any) do you allow mail to be sent from? My ISP blocks port 25.

You can use your ISP's mail server for outgoing mail (and change the reply-address)
