Default Do i need VPS Hosting and which Level?

At the moment i have a shared hosting account with two domains/sites.

An image host with about 2000 visits/month and 40-50 GB bandwidth usage/month in average according to awstats. About 500 MB Diskspace in use.
This site is very slowly growing. I think shared hosting is doing fine.

Now i started a second site. A TGP Site running with TGPX http://www.jmbsoft.com/software/tgpx/
This site is different. About 500 visitors/day and growing. Site is running for only a few days and i think its to slow and its time for vps hosting with a bit more power.

I thought about Level 1 VPS for the start. Would that be ok?

When i order a vps plan (Level 1) how do i move all my content, databases, emails to that server? Of course without loosing any kind of data.

No, you will need cPanel/WHM, and to get that you need at least level 3.

HG can help you in moving your Primary Domain here. Here are some details: https://secure.hostgator.com/transfer.php

Have you read the Terms of Service for shared accounts? You may want to accelerate your switchover.
