Do the hosting plans have these?
PHP Version 4.2.x - (no dev builds).
GD library, mySQL. safe_mode = Off. open_basedir is not restricted. PhpSuExec is not enabled.

Have a look for yourself.
 http://forums.hostgator.com/phpinfo.php Each of our servers has PHP configured this way as well.As for the last 2, I will have to check php.ini to be sure. I will be back. -Justin
