You mean went to DNSreport.com and got some warnings? Some of the warnings maybe ignored. There should not be anything in red ideally. yellow is acceptable though you should try to rectify those as well, if possible.

IJ

A host is some box inside DNSrEport.com.

C:\Users\OLSEN>ping mail.DNSrEport.com

Pinging mail.DNSrEport.com [173.9.86.68] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 173.9.86.68: bytes=32 time=286ms TTL=237
Reply from 173.9.86.68: bytes=32 time=286ms TTL=237

You can say "mail" is a host inside dnsreports domain with a public IP.

C:\Users\OLSEN>nslookup mail.DNSrEport.com
Server: vnsc-bak.sys.gtei.net
Address: 4.2.2.2

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: mail.DNSrEport.com
Address: 173.9.86.68

C:\Users\OLSEN>nslookup DNSrEport.com
Server: vnsc-bak.sys.gtei.net
Address: 4.2.2.2

They have 2 different IPs with different subnets. possible different physical locations.

The PAID version of the toolset available through dnsStuff.com includes dnsReport.

The dnsreport.com domain is just redirected to an advert on the dnsStuff.com website for their dnsReport product.

http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools is link to their "toolbox" which contains numerous tools. The tools with a yellow "Free!" button are available to everyone -- even without being logged in.

In order to perform a "ping"; however, you must be logged in -- either through a paid account, or a trial version.
