Default DNS issues

I have a domain registered elsewhere and wish to use it with my site hosted with hostgator.

What I want to do is have http://www.website.com as my main site, but have everything like http://website.com forward to the http://www.website.com, even things like http://website.com/whatever/dog.html should forward to the correct site.

How can I do this?

Also, is there a place to change DNS settings here for a domain not registered with Hostgator?

You just want to redirect non www to www? Set your nameservers to hostgator, and then there's a very easy way to setup that redirect from cPanel?

Ahhhh, alright, yeah, I guess I needed to use a wildcard redirect.

Thanks.

Your site is displaying fine for me.

As you have only just made DNS changes, be aware that it takes 24 - 72 hours for the DNS to fully propagate.

In mean time you can try to:
  • Clear your browser cache
  • Reboot your computer
  • Be patient

And your cable "modem" if that's how you access the Internet.
