My email from Hostgator stated to replace dns with ns11.hostgator.com and ns12.hostgator.com and namecheap tells me this won't work/is invalid. What now? I need to move forward on this? Am I doing somethign wrong here?

Thanks!

If you type it in exactly, it should work just fine. Make sure you are not trying to put in the IPs of those two servers.

Also make sure that your domain is active and not set on some sort of "lock" mode, which some registrars are doing to prevent someone from transferring the DNS. Also ensure that when you are trying to transfer it, that you are listed as the administrative contact for that domain or the registrar may not allow it to go through.

At the very least, contact your registrar.
