I agree, more information on the matter would certainly be helpful. I've waited since the beginning and it seems my server hasn't been upgraded yet either.

Default Server update

Someone asked if it could be possible to help find the server upgrade path link. I wonder about the same thing.

I am on Gator81 and am still waiting for the 9th consecutive month for an upgrade. Any help anyone when something will happen?

Have you asked support? Maybe your server was upgraded already and your quota wasn't adjusted.

Hi,

All servers have already been upgraded! Please submit a ticket to support if you do not see the correct quotas!

I guess you meant all the Dedicated and Reseller accounts and NOT the Shared accounts servers.

The answer from support few minutes ago for my Baby account was:

"The server that you are on has not been upgraded just yet. It will hopefully be upgraded within the next month or so."

I am veeery patient. I just checked to see if the above is true. I like the answer I received, it makes the time seem so small.

gator117 (assuming I got to it right. That is the server that sends our email) Is updated. I am showing the new config.

Thanks HG. You guys, Rock, but wait, I already knew that.

Wow, I began wading my way through this thread then gave up and did a search to see if anyone had posted this question. The search just brought me back to this thread.

The new account limits are appreciated. I can upgrade all my packages to reflect the new limits. I don't really have that many clients, but they are paying the bill so I will pass the upgrade along to them. However, I have some questions regarding these new limits.

Are my clients actually going to be allowed to take advantage of these new limits?
I was under the impression that reseller accounts were not oversold and all of the disk space and bandwidth was available to be used without causing my account to be suspended. I understand and appreciate HG needing to suspend for overloading the servers processing power thus degrading the other accounts users on that server.
What I want to know is ...
If all my clients are using resources to the limits of my reseller account will this cause ME to get suspended?

Take a look at the smallest reseller account with limits of 24Gb/250Gb. If I look at the limits HG allows in their dedicated servers (500GB/2500GB), that would mean only 10 resellers could fit on HG's biggest dedicated server - without overselling. Somehow, that doesn't compute, financially. Therefore I must assume HG is overselling, and assuming most clients won't use anywhere near their limits.

Is it possible for a reseller to use all his alotted bandwidth and disk space without getting suspended for overusing the server resources?

I run a site on another host that is using php-nuke which uses alot of bandwidth (approx 40-50 Gb on a heavy month). Lets say I have 5 clients on one reseller account with limits of 24Gb/250Gb. If I have 5 clients all splitting those limits and they all use close to come close to their limits but do not exceed them (I am talking about normal bandwidth use, say all my clients uploading a large SQL file at once). Am I as a reseller going to get suspended? I guess what I am asking is it possible to get suspended without actually exceeding my limits? Would a case like that described above overwhelm the CPU causing me to get suspended?
