Exclamation Discussion Boards

Which is a good Discussion Boards application?

1. PHPBB.
2. Invision Board (Currently Disabled in fantastico).
3. vBulletin.

Almost all the have most of the features required, but I'am looking for the following (If possible)

a. Registered user can invite friends to join. Once the new user registered then want to track who invited.
b. Voting: not the part of the forum but can be display seperatly on the page.
c. Control Image size & shape in the forum.

I don't know about those boards having those options, maybe if they don't then there might be a mode. I didn't vote in your poll because I use SMF for my board and like it better than phpbb or invision. You can find it in Fantastico. IMO it is one of the few scripts in Fantastico that isn't riddled with bugs.

I have recently been taken by SMF as well. It has some nice features (similar to vBulletin, but free) that you just can't find in phpBB. The one downside to SMF is that is has a much smaller userbase that phpBB, so there are fewer templates and mods to pick from.

I use PHPBB because it has a nice range of options and it is free.
