I'm really disappointed that I can only host 1 domain with Hatchling. Upgrading to Baby Plan would be expensive, and I only want to host 1 more domain with Hatchling! I don't mine paying a one time fee to get it setup, and I know Hostgator could do it for me. Otherwise, I'm going to have to find a new host.
The second site won't even use much bandwidth or disk space. I just want to get it up. |

You are complaining about something that was clearly spelled out when you signed up.
You would really go to all the trouble of moving for $3.00? Unbelievable!!! The Mule A horse is a horse of course. But if you got a Mule, well now you got something. |

![]() I never tire of hearing people ***** about how they are being robbed by a 50gb account for only $6.99. For $3.00 more dollars, they could have unlimited domains and twice as much space. |

I'll buy 2 months of upgrades. Where can I do it though?

Three cheers for the person who is actually going to take matters into his own hands rather then take up valuable forums space!

However, I would use the analogy, Its like asking my cable company to let me hook in my neighbor's house to my cable. I mean, they are hardly home, how much TV could they watch? |

That's why I added the phone, but the cable company is better.
However, once we start thinking of the issue in terms of 'no production cost', it's a really slippery slope in which it's hard to explain the difference between adding another tv in the neighbor's house and just using a longer co-ax to add a tv in another house. Or the difference between one domain and more than one. |

Well, yes the difference between the two accounts is stupidly small and really a totally artificial boundary. It doesn't really make any sense, so it would be better to just get rid of it and not have that cheaper account. It is hard to explain why they would draw the line where they did.

Maybe it's a residue of the days when almost all hosting accounts everywhere were either one domain or reseller/multi...and maybe a bunch of clients with just one domain each didn't see why they should pay for more.
Using that logic, it's easier to explain. Like a salad bar where you either pay for one (1) plate or all you can eat. There's no such thing as adding 'just a couple of radishes' after you get your one plate, if you've chosen that option, but you can decide to pay more to upgrade to all you can eat. This is sort of a weird inverse to the space/bandwith upgrade thread... |
