I am working on setting up a list of directories to submit my website to. What I mean is that I am working on setting up a text file with the addresses of thousands of directories that I will be trying to submit my site to. When I had my old site and started this stage of everything I remember there was a lot of directories that required a reciprocal link in order to have a free submission on their site. But I have a few questions.
Are the sites that require a reciprocal link worth it considering who knows when they will get around to listing my site? Do I make a whole page on my site listing nothing but directories I have listed with and if so, how can I do this nicely without being tacky? Hope you understand that. I think I had some other questions but I can not think of there right now, so this will do for now. Thank you in advance for your replies. |

You will get a lot of ranking points if there would be websites that are linking to your sites. If that's what they ask from you, that would be fine as long as you get what you need from them.
