I created an FTP account for a user to access their own addon domain, but now it isn't working. I used CPanel to create it and it worked at first, taking them to their domain. Now it isn't working.
Here is a different issue: How do I create a guest access folder for people to Upload and Download stuff with a password? Like ftp.sshado.com username: guest password: guest takes you to a folder like www.sshado.com/upload/ Also, is there a way to let them use FTP without having to use my main account? Currently it is like this: ftp.weizguy.org username: sshado@weizguy.org is there a way to make it like this: ftp.sshado.com username: Sshado ??? My main account is weizguy.org sshado.com is an addon domain. thanks, Weizguy |

Ftp usernames are always in the format user@domain.com, except the main cpanel ftp. They are also independent of domain name, so you may point them anywhere using the ftp setup.

Have you tried from different locations? Quote:
Remember that it is a shared server, the username must be like user@yourdomain.com because that is the way how the FTP server knows that the account is in your account.
