Where Did My Thread Go?

A few hours ago I posted a message about IMAP folders not showing up. Now it's gone.

So, two questions:

1. Where did the thread go?
2. Where are my IMAP folders? I create a mail account and set it up as IMAP in my e-mail client, and only the Inbox appears. There is no Sent, Trash, etc. One live chat person said this is normal, HG's servers don't create the other folders. Another HG person said those folders ARE created and should appear. But they don't show up in any e-mail client I have on Windows or Mac. I'm very familiar with setting up and using IMAP accounts.
