Here's a basic question: how do you delete folders under File Manager in CPanel? I see how to delete files within folders, but when I click on a folder it just opens it up. I see no way to delete the actual folder. I also tried deleting the subdomain but the folder is still there.
I'm expecting a "duh" moment when someone points out how obvious this answer is, but for now I have no clue. |

select the folder by clicking the name (not the icon) and look to the right of the screen for the "Delete this folder and all files under it" link

If you're on the more recent file manager, have you tried checking the box to the left of the folder and then clicking "delete"?
If you're on the older one, have you tried clicking the name of the folder (instead of the icon), and then using the options listed at the right?

In the x3 theme, using the newer file manager and Internet Explorer (gotta cover all bases here), simply left-click once on the folder ICON (not the folder name) on the right-hand pane, and at the top menu select delete, OR right-click and choose delete from the popup.
