Defenitly Intrested - Please Help~

So im starting an online website selling Affiliated Products.
I'm completely a newbie when it comes to web-site,
But im good with computers and a quick learner..

So i have been looking and looking for a Web Host,
and it seems you guys are the best.. hopefully.. im tired of looking..

I would probly go with Hatchling Plan since im gana focus on 1 site for now.
Hopeing to get a site sometime in March but i wana figure out everthing i need to do beforhand.
I have alot of Questions and i relly hope you can help!

- I live in Canada Ontario, is HG server around me? how is the connection gana be for me? and as for money, im able to pay with Canadian $ right?

- I Newbie so im looking for simple site builder, so i see you guys have sitebuilder and studiobuilder or what ever its called but i heard its better to NOT start learning those and go right into the more complex one..
Witch ones should i Learn, Were can i learn them, it needs to be Free aswell, i heard Wordpress is good for sitebuilding please help.

- Were can i find some sample web sites of people who are useing Host Gator?

- From what i heard its best to get a domain from NameCheap or bansheedomains, then transfer it to HG, is that hard to do?

- If/When i get a website, were do i start?
Were do you guys make your banners, bottons, pages?
or does HG come with all of that?

- I planing on makeing a big site, selling all kinds of products, seting up paypal and shoping carts, adding a twitter and facebook botton and i wana add lots of Videos (Will i be able to put Lots of Videos on my site? like youtube and quicktime and windowsmedia player ect..?) lots of pics and info ect.. How hard is it going to be to be able to do this?
I'm just alittle scared ima gana buy this and once i get it i wonlt know what the heck im doing and were to start.

I have the vision and idea of how i want my site i just need to be able to build it.

Best of luck in your search. A couple of things, however, this forum is for peer support not official support by techs or sales. You can email sales at hostgator dot com if you want a direct response. I'm not sure why you expect folks here to quickly reply to your questions when you were not willing to take the time to phrase them coherently with at least some attention to spelling.

IMO--and remember, I am not an HG employee--you are expecting far more from this forum*, the internet, and perhaps life, than you want to put in.

It says a lot about HG staff that if they're ever tempted to write something like, "oh, you want our Enormous Social Networking Plus Everything Else Insta-Site Package--just press a single button and the next day thousands of visitors will start making you RICH!!!"...

they resist. Or at least resist doing it here.

Just a thought, because I've done a little affiliate marketing, you may want to use something like a stripped down wordpress install or joomla as you will have a much easier time optimizing for search engines. Also maybe your using a different service but will you actually be selling the product on your site via a shopping cart? Usually affiliate marketing involves reviews or information about a product on a landing page with affiliate links. Just wondering if it will be easier than you think.

I recommend a wordpress install and the thesis or heatmap theme, you can tweak them into a nice landing page.
