Default Dedicated server upgrade please?

Since shared and reseller had their wishes granted for disk space and bandwidth, I am asking about new dedicated servers with quadruple hard drive and unlimited bandwidth. If possible at the same prices. Since the shared and reseller didn't get higher pricing

This is just a dream plan by the way

Best Regards,

Actually the prices went down didn't they

So more disk space, more memory, free NAS backup and a lower price too! Please

I agree, if they (the swamp plan) can get unlimited bandwidth, why can't we? (Haven't got mine yet, but that will be my opinion when I do.

I would think it's much more likely for a dedicated owner to use tons of bandwidth than all the shared accounts. For them to use hundreds of gigs of bandwidth, they'll most likely be doing something so CPU intensive that they'd get suspended quickly.

But with only the physical resource limits of a dedicated server, I could think of some very easy ways to use that kind of bandwidth.

Exactly, and many of the things that would get a shared user suspended dedicated users can continue to do. Also services that are not allowed on shared servers can be run from a dedicated. So really, unlimited is a little far fetched, although there are servers out there with "unmetered" bandwidth...so in light of the the other packages, why not?

A lot of hosts give dedicated and vps users the choice--limited bandwidth on a faster line, or unlimited bandwidth on a slower line.

Yep, and I'll take the fast pipe and no throttling snuck in the package too!

Do you subscribe to PC Magazine? There was a cool article about how hard drive GBs are getting cheaper each year.. so I am sure your "dream" will come true within a few years.

Probably about 999999 billion images

Apparently it would cost £280,000,000,000,000. (280 TRILLION pounds). for a 1YB (1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (trillion trillion) bytes) harddrive

Haha, so I have heard. Maybe your neighbor stole it? Or maybe they didn't send it, haha.
