Dedicated Server?
Do the dedicated servers have a 10mbps uplink or a 100mbps uplink?

as far as I know, the default is 10mbps, but you can upgrade it to 100

I am pretty sure it's 100Mbps nowadays, at least if the server is not an old unmanaged...

Our dedicated servers have a 10mbps uplink, but you can upgrade to 100mbps NIC.

When my vBulletin forum gets too large will I be able to upgrade to a dedicated server with no problems?

you can always upgrade whenever you feel like, but it would not allow you to SWAP drives from one box to another, you'll have to backup and restore it on the new server.
For upgrade price of uplink speed you need to ask sales @hostgator.com
