Default Dedicated email hosting recommendations?

I manage several websites here at hostgator but I'm just not interested in dealing with email problems. Can anyone recommend email only hosting services? Thanks, Amy

It depends on your needs: Outlook or not but you can take a look at Intermedia.net that offer basic POP3 account to powerful Outlook account. I have done business with them for a few month because one of my business client needed a Outlook/Exchange service so I had to host him on my server but change the MX record to Intermedia.net and it was really working well.

For non Outlook plan: http://www.intermedia.net/it-profess...il-compare.asp

For Outlook plan:

Main website: http://www.intermedia.net

Best regards,

you could try Google Apps for your domain:
http://www.google.com/a/

More info on this thead:

One of my clients is using it (I changed the MX record to google) and everything has been smooth. It's free and each mailbox has 2Gb disk space. There is a limit of e-mail accounts you can create (50 I think).

Google Apps is great. I got into the beta awhile ago and loved it.

If only we could brand it

I remember being able to upload my logo to it and change around some colors. Do they not allow that anymore?

Last I saw you could, but not enough branding for me to bother with it I just send my clients to it themselves.
