Hostgator says they can transfer my database here for free
so how it works ? what do i have to do ? my database is 500mb, i was thinking of uploading it on the ftp then ask a hostgator technician to import it in mysql for me, but i have read on this forum that the maximum file size is 10mb so how will i send my database to you ? |

Upload it via ftp, then submit a ticket to HG and they can assist you to import it.

I used the free site transfer service that HG offers, I gave them the info for my account at GoDaddy and they moved everything for me with no issues.
