As requested by _Sam_. Pretty much everything is up to you- the color or the Play and Stop/Pause button, color of font, font type, what you want on the intro/conclusion page- I think you get the point!
![]() The tutorial goes by fast; I sped it up for demo purposes. http://www.secretsniteclub.com/demo/

I'll make you a list of custom tutorials I would like to have.
It is all related to the WHMCS billing system where it would help my customers to navigate. Give me a day or two for the list to get built and have it quote. I know the 5$ will be off but I am sure you will not charge me 5$ for those ![]() Best Regards, |

You should seriously consider working on your flash skills before trying to sell them... No offense, just a friendly critique, it's just not very good.
Static pictures and tweening a box in is hardly something work paying for. If you would like some customers, try adding a little effect to the boxes, use higher quality static images... maybe animate them in, ease the overlay boxes in, round the corners and give them better colors, including a tasteful stroke.

That can be done. I believe I mentioned it was basic. It was a quickie that I through together for one of my websites. Nothing that is actually in use. It was to give and idea what they are like. By the way, please keep in mind the price I am charging. Custom cost money. Would you rather pay roughly $10 here or $50+ else ware... (rhetorical question)
Thank you for your input.

Actually, I think there's a lot to be said for keeping this kind of thing non-glitzy.
Keep in mind two important factors: psychological and usability. The client who is watching is either already irritated (because s/he hasn't been able to figure something out) or could get into a bad mood at any second. Anything that delays or "dresses up" the information s/he has been trying to find and figure out is a potential irritant, especially if it triggers any thoughts about what you are charging for the thing for which they need help. The last thing they need or want is a blue sparkly arrow that dissolves into little comets and asteroids instead of, say, a crayon-like circle drawn around something. And it's awfully difficult for technically-minded people (by definition even the least technical forum reader) to understand the mindset of the non-technical. Or really, for most people who can do something (install software, drive a car with a clutch, make puff paste, etc.) to remember how intimidating and confusing it was before they could.

Would you rather go purchase your goods in downtown Baghdad or your local Wal-Mart? Obviously a comical example... but you get my point. I never suggested sparkly arrows and comets... so don't suggest that was my intent
![]() But I was trying to put it as nicely as possible, they are just very poorly done. You can do professional, clean interfaces without being overdone. I was merely suggesting working on the design and animation skills a bit, because as it is right now, anyone with zero flash knowledge, could put these together with about 3 minutes of lessons... literally. And it shows. But hey, if you want to sell your services for $5, then I don't know what to tell you, I just think you should up your production value and reach for the stars... I've been around long enough and seen our business go from scratching and clawing for $300 jobs, to doing $30,000-$120,000 major network websites, just by working a little harder and going for it. It may not be a bad idea, to put a little extra effort into those $5 flash tutorials, and maybe try and build up a little portfolio.

You're entitled to your opinion. Mind sharing a $120,000 network website? Please keep in mind, that was a quickie and it is basic. Thanks for sharing.

I don't discuss the jobs I do for other companies here... It's unprofessional.
I'm only trying to help you out, again, it's really nothing personal. Even on "quickies" I put my best work forward... I won't have anything with my name on it that doesn't show my best. Maybe this is just a little side fun thing for you, I don't know.... but if you want to get somewhere, I would take my suggestions seriously!
