Cool Custom solutions for 1500+ GB bandwidth???

Hello, I am considering a host and have been strongly leaning in this direction. My site will be somewhat of a photo gallery with a php/sql backend. 100% bandwidth will be jpgs of about 350kb each. A short term goal would yield 2000 of these jpgs total and high traffic such that each image is viewed at least 100x per day

If my calculations are correct (350 * 2000 * 100 * 30 / 10^6 ) I'm looking at 2100gb traffic per month. (Does that include FTP transfer?) This wouldn't even be suitable for a dedicated server. Are there any custom solutions that can be offered or do I need a different type of unmetered host altogether? Also considering the possibility that I'd want to allow hotlinking eventually.

Would a solution be as easy as saying purchasing 2 dedicated server accounts and somehow combining them into one? Thanks for your time

You can buy extra bandwidth as you need it $2.00 per GB. Some companies will load balance a pair of servers which might be good for your need. Does your system use smaller thumbnails to keep the usage to a minimum. there are also strategies to minimize on usage for example compression of the stream back to the browser. Maybe start out with one server and add another as you need it when the extra bandwidth charges make it worth your while. It might also take a while before you are maxing out the bandwidth on a single dedicated

My system will use smaller thumbnails, and I intended on using "php_value zlib.output_compression 16386" as described here for compression but wouldn't that require outputing jpgs thru php using headers and such? Wouldn't that tax the server during high traffic times?

I'm sure it would infact take awhile to max out my bandwidth but I'm just looking at the worst case scenario for now.
