I uploaded a backup of my account into a new account on the VPS. This backup was a rsync backup of my home folder. In my cPanel on my new account I have links to php.ini quick config and Fantasico.
Anyone know how I can remove them? Last edited by Misterpat; 11-04-2009 at 12:12 PM. |

You will need to create similar packages and features on the new server then "upgrade" your sites to the "new" packages.
That should remove the unused icons as it is not part of the new package features. |

Hi,
You should login into SSH with a tool call putty or using the SSH Connection in the VZ panel (Left menu > Container services > SSH Connection) and run the following line logged as root: /usr/local/cpanel/bin/rebuild_sprites Quote:

Thanks for the reply.
I ran that under the root account via ssh and got this. Quote:

If you think you need tech support from hostgator, open a ticket. This forum is just peer support.

Hello,
Are you saying that they are just broken links? Try deleting the .cpanel directory from that user's home directory on the VPS. cPanel makes an html cache of the ui to save processing power, and so it doesn't have to generate all of those stats/links all of the time. It doesn't usually matter, but I always make a backup of that directory first before I attempt removals such as this. I recommend that you do too. |
