Default cPanel Demo

I think that the cPanel Demo should not allow you to change languages. It should be set to english and not allow to be changed. I use the demo as a demo on my site because Hostgator recommends not to create our own account for testing. Problem is, today I went into it and noticed that it was all changed.

I also noticed that it was changed a while ago as well. Not sure how long ago exactly, but I had the old link on my site, which was not working anymore up until recently. I know I should be checking all the time, but it would be nice if things didn't change or if we could get an email or some kind of notification of the change.

I also think that the username should not be resellerdemo.com because it shows our clients that it is in fact a reseller account.

Just a few suggestions.

Thanks.

Are you talking about the demo available here?
http://www.cpanel.net/products/cpwhm/try_cp_whm.htm

If so, there is very little hostgator can do about it.

I would agree with the suggestion. I haven't looked to see how difficult it would be to restrict it to English only but I was looking at the demo after a recent thread and it had been changed to Arabic.

For the reseller demo, the username is 'rdemo' which doesn't indicate it's a reseller account. As for the ability to change languages, I am looking into this now, and will provide an update as soon as I know more.

I have set it so that the language appears to be able to be changed, but will not actually change for the reseller cPanel. The non reseller cPanel account doesn't appear to have the ability to change Language, as it's been disabled through root WHM.
