Hello, just a couple of questions before I make my order. I am thinking of ordering the baby plan but have a few concerns.
I run a small gaming group and I keep hearing things about memory limits 5000 visitors and stuff like that being too much for shared hosting and it gets a bit confusing. We host some maps for the game server using fast downloads, which basically redirects the download instead of off the game server, to a webserver since it's usually much faster. Would this be allowed? it's only a 24 slot server so at most only 24 downloads from that at a time, the file size is from 2-6mb usually. I was told by the live chat that I would be able to run hlstats(http://www.unitedadmins.com/index.ph...ontent=hlstats) but then reading their the TOS and what not it says no persistent running programs. So I am wondering if I will be able too or not. hlstats just from hlstats.pl and then gathers information from the server to make stats. Can someone really explain to me how many people's too much and memory and stuff? how do I know if I may use too much or not? Sorry if they're stupid questions, but thanks in advance for any answers. |
