A couple of pre sales questions

I'm interested in signing up for a reseller account but have a couple of pre sales questions before hand.

As follows.

On the reseller accounts is php's fsocketopen() function enabled? I ask since I'd like to use Paypal's IPN feature (Instant Payment Notification) and this relies on php's fsocketopen() function....

also

Is adult / porn content permitted?....(of course mine will be legal)

What is it about people never really answering your question? I don't meant to sound rude but I've checked the terms of service and didn't find them to be clear..hence I'm posting this message to ask.....

What the tos says is....

"Potential harm to minors is strictly forbidden, including but not limited to child pornography or content perceived to be child pornography (Lolita):

Any site found to host child pornography or linking to child pornography will be suspended immediately without notice."

I find this vague as to whether legal porn is permitted...so can someone please tell me...

And again!! is fsocketopen() enabled is the configuration of php? yes or no?

fsocketopen() is allowed,
if the content is Legal, Adult sites are permitted.

This is a peer support forum, and most answers come from people with HG hosting accounts. While HG staff members do post, they don't monitor the forum continuously.

Under "unacceptable material" several paragraphs before the part you quoted, legal adult content is NOT listed, ergo is allowed. The answer to consult sales [at] hostgator.com is not the blow-off you are perceiving it to be; if the TOS doesn't answer your questions, you're safest getting a specific answer from the sales department.

Moreover, several posts below yours on the index page of this category address the same topic, so it's not really fair to snipe.
